Oral Graded Challenge (OGC)¶
Preparation
Dissolve one 300 mg soluble Aspirin tablet into 30 mL of water to achieve a concentration of 10 mg/mL. Use this solution for the initial steps or use fractional tablets.

Notes¶
- Aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease (AERD) requires cautious challenge protocols.
- Monitor for asthma, rhinitis, or urticaria/angioedema during the challenge.
- If the patient is on a leukotriene antagonist (e.g., Montelukast), this should be noted as it may mask respiratory symptoms.
